Just think of the narrative weight of products of the caliber of the first season of The Walking Dead, Life is Strange, the Telltale series dedicated to Batman or on the first episode of The Council that we are going to analyze today. Over the last few years we have had a significant increase in this type of games, managing to get our hands on products of different quality, with some particularly successful exponents who, no doubt, will remain in the memory of gamers for a long time. Leaving aside the possibility of recalibrating the budget during construction (a useful factor for emerging teams), seriality has still introduced a direction and a style of writing that, until a few years ago, would have been completely unthinkable applied to this particular industry.
The arrival on the market of videogame products divided into episodes is certainly an element that should not be underestimated and that, like it or not, has changed the method of creating videogames.
